WebSAINT^® scanning service delivers an Internet-based way for administrators to evaluate the security environment of a single computer, multiple computers, or an entire network. Its easy, self-guided functions provide a comprehensive vulnerability check with minimum disruption to your networking department’s daily operations. Websaint^® is certified CVE compatible by MITRE.

WebSAINT^® scans the machine(s) for the following:

• Internet services offered (i.e., web servers, FTP servers, mail gateways, rpc services, etc.)
• Service characteristics
• Specific vulnerabilities including:
  –Security flaws inherent in the operating environment
  –Incorrect setup of configured network services
  –Well-known bugs in system or network utilities
  – Poorly implemented security policy and decisions

A subscription to WebSAINT^® includes unlimited scanning for the subscription period. As a WebSAINT^® customer, you will be sent, via e-mail, a login and password, good for the duration of your subscription period. During this time, you may use this login and password to initiate a scan as many times as you like.

After you initiate the scan, WebSAINT^® performs without any future requirements of you! All you need to do is maintain internet connectivity. You are free to use your computer for other tasks.

You will receive an e-mail notification when your scan is completed. You can then log back in using your login and password to view the results.
