SAINT® certification training provides world-class support for a world-class product. The two-day certification course, designed for system administrators and information security professionals, explores complex security issues and teaches strategies for using SAINT® effectively to address those challenges.
Certification training provides the most comprehensive guide to how SAINT® tools work and how best to use them, deepening the security professional's understanding of basic TCP/IP concepts. Students receive SAINT® certification upon completion of the course.

- Overview of TCP/IP
- Fundamental security concepts
- Installing and configuring SAINT®
- What SAINT® tests for
- Configuring the scan range

Laptop Requirements: You will need to bring a Linux laptop* to the class (and don't forget the root password to that laptop) unless prior arrangements are made at the time of registration. MySQL server and perl-DBD-mysql are laptop requirements for the SAINTmanager section only.
*Note: A Macintosh laptop is also acceptable, but for some of the exercises done in class, the procedure may vary slightly from that provided in the course material. A Mac cannot be used for the optional SANTmanager section of the course.
