WebSAINT®

The WebSAINT® online scanner lets administrators use the Internet to evaluate the security environment of a single computer, multiple computers, or an entire network. WebSAINT's easy, self-guided functions provide a comprehensive vulnerability check with minimum disruption to your networking department’s daily operations. Websaint® is certified CVE compatible by MITRE.

WebSAINT® scans for the following –

  • Internet services offered (i.e., Web servers, FTP servers, mail gateways, rpc services, etc.)
  • Service characteristics
  • Specific vulnerabilities including:
    – Security flaws inherent in the operating environment
    – Incorrect setup of configured network services
    – Well-known bugs in system or network utilities
    – Poorly implemented security policy and decisions

A subscription to WebSAINT® includes unlimited scanning for the subscription period. As a WebSAINT® customer, you will be sent, via e-mail, a login and password, good for the duration of your subscription period. During this time, you may use this login and password to initiate a scan as many times as you like.

After you initiate the scan, WebSAINT® performs without any further requirements of you! All you need to do is maintain Internet connectivity. You are free to use your computer for other tasks.

You will receive an e-mail notification when your scan is complete. You can then log back in to view the results.
