SAINT Corporation Releases New Report Writer

SAINT 4.3 has a fresh, new look and is even easier to use.

Bethesda, MD, May 8, 2003 - SAINT Corporation announced today that the newest version of SAINT, SAINT 4.3, includes a newly remodeled report writer. SAINT™ is a vulnerability assessment tool that scans network systems and detects areas of weakness that could be exploited by intruders. The updated SAINT Report Writer allows users to generate reports on the status of a network’s security. The reports can be tailored for specific groups including executives, legal counsel and compliance officers, and technical users.

With SAINT 4.3, users will see improved 3-D pie charts and graphics. The new, more explanatory format reads more like a memo and can be used immediately when giving findings reports. Users can customize their own reports or choose from six predefined types: Full, Executive, Technical Overview, Linked Technical Overview, Technical Detail, and Trend Analysis.

SAINT™ 4.3 also has a new expandable contents frame that makes navigation easier. By clicking on a section, users will find the information they need faster.

In addition, this release includes a new Class Chart where found vulnerabilities are divided into 12 categories, including: Web, Mail, File Transfer, Databases, and Passwords.
