SAINT 4.1 Vulnerability Assessment Now Includes IAVA References

Bethesda, MD, November 5, 2002 - SAINT Corporation announced today that SAINT™ 4.1 will include Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) references in SAINT's vulnerability assessment. SAINT™ is an information security tool that scans network systems and detects areas of weakness that could be exploited by intruders.

When SAINT™ 4.1 uncovers a vulnerability, the IAVA number will now be listed as a reference tool for military personnel. The IAVA Process was designed to alert those who administer military computer systems to new vulnerabilities and direct them to take corrective action.

"SAINT has always checked for many of the IAVA vulnerabilities, but until now the IAVA reference numbers were not included in the SAINT™ vulnerability assessment," said Donna Ruginski, President of SAINT Corporation.
