1. What is the difference between the SAINT and SAINT+SAINTexploit downloads?

1. What is the difference between the SAINT and SAINT+SAINTexploit downloads?

The SAINT download includes all vulnerability checks and features of SAINT, plus the graphical user interface for SAINTexploit, but does not include the exploits themselves. The SAINT+SAINTexploit download includes all vulnerability checks, exploits, and features of both SAINT and SAINTexploit.

2. If I download SAINT - the latest version, does it include the exploits?

No. The SAINTexploit graphical user interface is present in SAINT, but if you attempt to run an exploit, you will be informed that the exploit is not installed.

3. If I download SAINT+SAINTexploit, does it include the SAINT vulnerability checks?

Yes.

4. If I download SAINT - Free Trial, does it include the exploits?

No. The SAINTexploit graphical user interface is present in the SAINT free trial, but if you attempt to run an exploit, you will be informed that the exploit is not installed.

5. If I already have SAINT installed, can I safely install SAINT+SAINTexploit without losing my existing sessions?

Yes. When prompted to (I)nstall or (U)pgrade, enter U.

6. Do I need a new license key to run exploits?

Yes. Customers who have purchased both SAINT and SAINTexploit will be issued a single key which allows them to use both products. Existing SAINT customers who have been issued an evaluation account for SAINTexploit will need to put their SAINTexploit key in place to run exploits, and then put their existing SAINT key back in place to run a vulnerability scan.

7. Can SAINTexploit be integrated into SAINTbox? We have SAINTbox and were wondering how to expand it to include SAINTexploit.

SAINTexploit™ can be used on a SAINTbox. For new customers who purchase SAINTexploit™ and SAINTbox, the exploits will be installed on the box.

For existing SAINTbox™ customers who wish to add SAINTexploit™ to their license, the exploits will need to be downloaded to the SAINTbox and installed using a few simple steps.

Either way, a SAINTbox™ customer who has a SAINTexploit™ license will receive future exploits by SAINTexpress.
